Prevent Awareness
The aim of Prevent is to reduce the threat of terrorism by stopping people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism. This Preventing Radicalisation and Extremism course gives you a clear and concise overview of the Prevent duty and the UK's Counter-Terrorism legislation currently in place, and can support staff in understanding their role in safeguarding others in the context of the Prevent Duty.

- Define Radicalisation
- Understand what constitutes 'British Values'
Vulnerabilities to radicalisation and the associated risk
In this module you will learn to:
- Understand and define vulnerabilities to radicalisation
- Identify indicators of radicalisation in individuals
Your responsibilities in Prevent
In this module you will learn to:
- Understand your responsibilities under the Prevent Strategy
- Understand what happens if a referral is made
- Look at current referral statistics to the Channel Programme
