Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and similar technologies on this website, and how you can manage them.
Last updated: 28 May 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve your experience, and to give site owners information about how their site is used. Similar technologies such as pixels and local storage work in much the same way, and we refer to them all as "cookies" in this policy.
2. Your consent and how to change it
When you first visit our website, a banner asks for your permission before we set any cookies that are not strictly necessary. You can Accept all, Reject all, or open Cookie settings to choose each category individually. Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are used; no functional or analytics cookies are set.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting Cookie settings here, or from the link in the footer at the bottom of every page. We will also ask you to confirm your choices again around every six months, and whenever this policy changes significantly.
3. The cookies we use
We group cookies into the categories below. Strictly necessary cookies are always active; the others are only used with your consent.
- Strictly necessary: required for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They only store choices you make and do not identify you. These are:
- tlc-cookie-consent: remembers your cookie preferences. Stored in your browser for around six months.
- Functional: enable additional features and third-party content, such as the Google Map on our Contact page. If you do not allow these, that content will not be shown until you choose to enable it.
- Analytics & performance: help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. The information these collect is aggregated and does not directly identify you. We currently set no analytics cookies, but this category is here so your preference is respected if we introduce them.
4. Third-party cookies
Some pages include content and services provided by third parties, which may set their own cookies. These include:
- Google Maps: shows the map on our Contact page. The map only loads after you accept Functional cookies.
- Google Fonts: used to display the fonts on this website. Google Fonts does not set cookies but may process your IP address to serve the font files.
These services are controlled by the relevant third parties and we recommend reviewing their own privacy and cookie policies for more information.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
As well as using our cookie settings, you can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse or remove cookies, and tell you when a new cookie is set. Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of this website may not work as intended.
Guidance for managing cookies is available in the help section of your browser, and general information about cookies can be found at aboutcookies.org.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
